There are two groups of people, bad and evil. Everyone had known the Saint Sword Sect as the good people lead by Pak Tong Ng , and Blood Shadow Sect lead by a name unknown couple as the bad people. Saint Sword Sect tried to get rid of the Blood Shadow Sect. The Blood Shadow Sect broke apart. Before they fought, Michael Miu and Anne Heung had a twin, which they used the eagles to send them separately elsewhere for safety. After that, Pak Tong Ng ruled the Eight Sects.

Shing Fung and Shing Kung are unrelated brothers. They perform on the street with their mother (Law Koon Lan) to earn money. Because of a rich house’s celebration for the daughter wedding, Shing Fong joins the competition to climb to get the lucky peach all the way at the top. That’s how he knows his si fu (Wayne Lai) and met Chi Lung.

Saint Sword Sect is looking for new disciples. Shing Fung got in. He starts to know Kin Lui (Kevin Cheng) and become good friends. While being in the Saint Sword Sect, Kin Lui looks for his mother. Blood Shadow Sect arises, lead by Mok Man (Sharon Chan). Pak Tong Ng wants to find one out of all his students to learn the Big Dipper Array, the strongest long lost martial arts in the wuxia world.

By Mok Man’s help, Kin Lui finds his mother. Things happen that cause Kin Lui quit the Saint Sword Sect and fall in love with Mok Man.

When the sword saint find out about the relationship between Shing Fung and Mok Man, he uses him to lure Mok Man to a trap which will enable him to kill her.

When Mok Man went to the trap, soon afterwards, Shing Fung arrived to help her. Sword Saint Pak Tong Long was outraged and made up excuses. Kin Lui then came and took hostage of Chi Lung. Then they ran away to hide, meditate, and heal Mok Man.

No matter how Shui Ling try, she found it impossible to cure them... Unless they go to the Heaven House. The place where Shui Ling was born.
